Sparkie ?-3/8/04 
 
Sparkie was never much of an out going dog. She came to me a dog fearful of anything and everything.
Still...I loved her as soon as I met her...she had so much to give.
It was not until much later that I learned to the extent of the abuse she endured....her strange behavior made so much sense then.

She enjoyed all of the dogs in the pack, kept them in their place. She in her life was blessed to have two best friends...her canine companion Jasmine, and me.

As a professional trainer she was an unlikely dog for me to have...most trainers have dogs that win numerous titles....Sparkie just won my heart, as did I hers. She always managed to make me smile, make me laugh. She was ever faithful, we simply adored one another.
My six pack is now a three pack.

Jas my three legged wonder dog. From neglect and abuse to a beautiful, well behaved, well trained, much loved dog. We were a "Team," inseparable. Jasmine in her short life did more then most people I know. From visiting ill children, to working with patients that had Alzheimer's and those recovering from strokes.
 
For her fun attitude, her playfulness, her comforting ways...for her soft oh, so very soft fur...I am grateful.
We will miss our Jasmine, our pack will never be the same!
Many of our dog friends lit candles for Jasmine...what a thought knowing all those candles throughout the US were burning brightly, just as my Jas did in life!!!
