Our Training Philosophy
We believe that all dogs should be taught obedience and manners...regardless to the breed of dog. Once brought into the
family he/she should be treated as a family member...in that the dog is respected just for the fact that they are a dog. They
should have their very own space, education is a must as is proper diet and nutrition, daily play and exercise.
Positive, fair, balanced training methods used. Prevention of behavioral problems is taught...as is implementing
training into ones daily life.
A love and respect for animals...
As a little girl Dee was always bringing home animals found wandering the streets. Her interest in animal behavior &
rescue started very young. There have been so many wonderful "teachers" in her career...the best have always been
the animals with which she has worked with. They always have so much to teach!
It was twenty years ago while taking an obedience course at the local recreation center with her then beloved
Tasha that Dee was introduced to working with others to better understand animals. Dee often times stayed after class and
chatted with fellow students, making friends, answering questions and giving helpful hints and tips to better their
training skills.
Little did she know when she enrolled in that program that it would be the start of a new career. Most of
Dee's clients are those with dogs requiring more then just obedience training (ie. house-soiling, aggression, fear etc).
Many of the local veterinarians will often refer their clients for behavioral modification programs...or those dogs just
simply needing to be taught better manners and obedience.
